Career & Leadership Coaching for Your Next Chapter
For experienced professionals deciding what comes next.
There’s a particular kind of quiet that tends to show up at some point in your career. You’re good at what you do. You’ve built something real, and for a long while it fit. Then, somewhere along the line, it stopped. The role, the pace, the culture, the balance, or maybe just your own sense of who you are at work no longer matches who you want to be as a whole. Coaching with me is where you stop circling that feeling and start answering the question underneath it: who am I now, what no longer works, and what do I actually want next?
I’m Jaye Williams. For more than twenty years I’ve sat with people at exactly these crossroads — across Arlington, the Dallas–Fort Worth area, and virtually anywhere — helping them turn an unsettled feeling into a clear, deliberate next step.

How the work feels matters as much as the credentials behind it: plain-spoken, with no pretense, no scripts, and no pretending there's a tidy checklist for a genuinely messy decision. I call it the Coach Concierge™ approach — we start with a real conversation, and the work bends to fit you, not the other way around. We meet where you are, and it adapts as your thinking and your circumstance does.

My clients are experienced professionals in motion. Some are mid-career, weighing a move, a promotion, or a pivot toward work that means more. Others are further along — seasoned leaders and executives thinking through how to step out of corporate life into a nonprofit role, an encore career, a board seat, or a retirement that actually feels like something rather than just an ending. A few arrive with a clear decision already on the table. More arrive simply knowing something's off, and wanting to name it before they act.

A quick, honest note, because it saves us both time. This isn't résumé-and-interview coaching. If what you need is someone to rework your LinkedIn and run mock interviews, there are good people for that — and part of our work together can be figuring out who you need and helping you go get it. What I do sits a layer beneath the job search — the strategy and self-understanding that should come before you ever update a résumé. We get clear on what you genuinely want and why, so that when you do make a move, it's the right one, not just the next one. More than a few clients come in certain they need a new job, and leave realizing they needed a new direction.

My coaching is human-centered, insight-driven, and grounded in how people actually think, decide, and grow — not just how to set goals and check in on them. The complexity of human thought and development goes so much deeper than a goal planner or checklist — great tools that have their place in this work, but only part of it. The depth I'm describing comes from more than twenty years of working closely with people, anchored in real training and evidence-based assessment. To be clear, coaching with me is not therapy — I bring the understanding, not the treatment, and we keep that line firmly in place.
I also work with real instruments rather than one quick quiz. As an MBTI® Master Practitioner, I value assessment that's both practical and revealing, and I use a comprehensive toolkit — MBTI®, the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI™), FIRO®, and AQai® adaptability, to name a few — to surface how you actually operate, so we work from genuine insight instead of guesswork. It lets us hold both sides of the crossroads at once: the human side and the practical, career-strategy side.

If you're in Arlington or anywhere across Dallas–Fort Worth and want to meet face to face, we can. If you'd rather meet by video, that works just as well — plenty of clients mix the two depending on the week. The coaching is the same either way; only the room changes.
